TV rights holders of the Ghana Premier League, StarTimes have revealed that the Premier League week 10 Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will not be available to free to air televisions.
The Super Clash which is expected to draw a record crowd at the Baba Yara stadium is going to be the top liner of the week 10 fixtures and the rights holders want to cash in and get as many eyeballs as possible on the day.
Both Hearts and Kotoko have had an inconsistent run so far in this league campaign, but that will not stop patrons from trooping to the Baba Yara stadium to watch the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana.
But starTimes in a release indicates Ghanaians who can’t troop to the stadium on match day can only watch the game exclusively on StarTimes decoder.
“Just a warm reminder that you remind your followers and listeners that GPL MD 10 between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak slated for 29th April will not be available to *Free to air*
Rather *exclusive* to *StarTimes Mix, channel 247*.”
Ghana FA has signed ten years broadcast partnership with StarTimes for the production of live Ghana Premier league games and other league such as the Division One League, Women’s League, FA Cup and Gala competitions.
