Dreams FC drew goalless with Inter Allies in their friendly match at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu in a game which saw Dreams FC play with a depleted squad as 10 first team players had been sidelined with injuries.
This was a game that both sides sought to use as a good test for the upcoming season and it didn’t disappoint with Manager Zito’s charges and Kenich Yatsuhashi’s men displaying great ability to cancel each other out.
The first half started with Dreams FC dominating the early stages but it was Inter Allies who got the first chance of the game with Victorien Adebayor sliding through on goal but he scuffed his shot.
The remainder of the half was a dilly-dally affair as both midfields cancelled each other out and the defences showing their resilience.
The second half started in the same way the first half ended with very little to choose between the sides but it was Inter Allies yet again who had a good chance to open the scoring in the latter parts of the game; this time goalkeeper Philemon Mccarthy showed great reflexes to stop the shot.
Dreams FC had a few chances in the closing stages of the game but it was just not to be.
This is the second high profile friendly at the Theatre of Dreams after Dreams FC recorded a 1-1 draw against Accra Hearts of Oak.
