The Minister for Youth and Sports (MoYS), Isaac Asiamah says he is unhappy about the delayed start of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season.
According to Asiamah, the league which is not been played is affecting businesses since people whose businesses thrive during match days are been affected. He made this known at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Meet the Press held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Information Conference Hall.
He also stated that the Sports Ministry has met officials of the Ghana League Clubs Association of Ghana (GHALCA), the Ghana Football Association and Accra Great Olympics to help resolve the matter so the league can start.
He tasked the Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi to make sure the league commences as soon as possible.
