Hearts: Coach Wellington highlights tactical inefficiency

Hearts of Oak coach, Henry Wellington, says his tactical prowess could not work to perfection as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Elmina Sharks in a match-day seven fixture played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium last Sunday.

The Phobians suffered their third loss of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League after conceding two first goals against Sharks who were relentless in the play as they demonstrate quality in every department of the game.

After the game, Wellington lamented on how painful the defeat was, especially playing on home turf.

“I think it’s a very painful match. We lost in the first half… our tactics didn’t work.,” Wellington said.

Hearts of Oak will travel to Nzema as they face off against resurgent Karela FC United on match-day eight on Wednesday.
