Ghana Swimming Team will depart today March 26, 2018 to Australia for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. They will be accompanied by some officials of the National Sports Authority to Australia
The Swimming Team were not able to go with the other Ghanaian contingent to Australia due to academic reasons.
Four athletes namely Rebecca Asare, Abeiku Jackson, Maaya Ayaware and Jason Jude Arthur will be the athletes who will be representing Ghana at the Commonwealth Games.
Jason Jude who is based in America will fly directly to Australia to join the team.
Team Ghana have moved to the Games Village.
According to the National Sports Authority boss Robert Sarfo Mensah who is in Australia, the athletes are well prepared and ready for the Games which begins next week.
