2018 Edition of Kiddi Mile Race Held in Accra

The 2018 edition of the Kiddi Mile race took center stage last Saturday as kids between the ages of 3-15 years were engaged in series of fun activites focused on the creating awarness of staying health.

The race which was held at the El wak Sports Stadium in Accra saw over 1500 children gather to compete in Mile runs, obstacle course and other fun activities.

In her adress to the media, Mrs. Catherine Morton who is the Race Director expressed delight with the enthusiasm of the kids who participated in this year’s event as it demostrated how passionate they were in staying fit and living a healthy life.

She said, ”
It was a great turnout and we’re impressed with the performance of the kids and their enthusiasm to come and participate in this race.

“If you want to inculcate a healthy habit and if you want people to be passionate about what they do you must start when they are young.

She further encouraged more children to participate in next year’s race.

This year’s Kidmile race was sponsored by Omo, BIC, Snappy, Indomie, GFTS and Kaesar.
