Report: Hearts Players Boycott Training Over Unpaid Bonus

Reports gathered by www.sportsnetghana.com, indicates that, players of Accra Hearts of Oak on Friday, boycotted training ahead of their league game against Medeama SC on Sunday at Tarkwa.

According to the reports, the players refused to train on Friday, due to unpaid bonuses and other financial commitments.

According to the reports, the players were promised by an official of the club, that their bonuses would be paid this week but the promised was not honoured.

But for the intervention of the Team Manager Nii Sabahn Quaye, the players would have stayed out of training throughout the day.

Team Manager Quaye appealed to the players to rescind their decision, because their action would tarnish the image and reputation of the club.

The report indicate that the players later trained in anticipation of their bonuses.
