Former Black stars of Ghana management committee member, Yaw Boateng Gyan has blamed the failure of Black stars to qualify for the 2018 World Cup on politics in the team.
The Black stars per the standings of the league log in group E are out of the competition leaving Egypt to that right, Ghana were favourites in the group but unfortunately that couldn’t materialized.
Many have blamed Ghana’s inability to make it to the mundial on the current rift between the president of the GFA and his vice ( Kwasi Nyantakyi and George Afriyie ) but the former NDC national organizer believes other factors also contributed to Ghana’s failure.
” I will repeat this again because the last time I said it the spokesperson of the FA ( Saanie Dara ) came to say it’s not the case, there are politics in the Black stars team, if not in the administrators then it’s in the team of which i believe it’s the main cause of our failure,” he told Hot Fm.
