Ghana defender Joseph Adidoo has joined Belgian top-flight side KRC Genk, the club has confirmed.
The former Inter Allies defender signed a three year deal with Belgian side on Monday, he joined them from Swedish side Hammarby.
A statement at the club’s website reads:
KRC Genk reached an agreement with Joseph Aidoo today. The Ghanaian defender signs a contract for 3 years in Genk with 1 year option.
Aidoo started his career with Ghanaian side Inter Allies. After a loan at Swedish Hammarby IF, the Scandinavian team acquired him permanently in January 2016.
At Hammarby, Joseph was played 30 games and scored 1 goal, Aidoo is physically strong, good in the air and in one against one situation. He can be played at various positions and is thus a very valuable addition to the Genkse kernel.
Joseph will officially be presented at the Luminus Arena tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12.30. He will play with the number 45.
