No Blame Game After World Cup Failure – Dep. Minister

The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Pius Enam Hadzide has said, the inability of Ghana to qualify for the 2018 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) World Cup in Russia, was not the fault of anybody.

He has therefore called for an end to the ongoing blame game, saying it would not be in the interest of anybody to engage in accusations and counter accusations.

Ghana failed to to qualify for her fourth consecutive appearance at the FIFA World Cup after losing out to Egypt in the group.

There has been accusations and counter accusations over who cause the failure, as some have blamed former Minister of Youth and Sports, Nii Lantey Vanderpuije for the disaster.

Some have also accused the former coach Avram Grant, with other accusing the playing body of disunity.
