Operations manger of WAFA, Mr. George Ofosu Hene has stated that his team is not under any pressure from Aduana stars for the league trophy.
The League which is keenly contested looks to go down to the last league game as both clubs ( Aduana and WAFA ) are growing from strength to strength.
Mr Ofosu Hene believes his team are still favorites to win the domestic top-flight championship this season despite facing stiff opposition from the Dormaa giants.
“We are favorites to win the league but fact still remains that we are not under any pressure with the chase from Aduana Stars, We are just cautious and guiding against overconfidence and complacency which could be the only reason we can loose the title,” he said.
When asked if his team will be disappointed if they miss out on the league title, he said.
“Our main target for this league is to be in the top four which means we will not be obviously disappointed if that happens, we will love to win the league but if we fail and remains in the top four, we have achieved our target,” he concluded.
Aduana stars now top the league log with 44 points, a point ahead of WAFA but WAFA has two outstanding matches against Ashgold and Asante Kotoko.
