Cycling: Ghana Embarks On First International Tour

River Park Eastern/ River Park Brong Ahafo are set to represent the federation at this year’s Tour du Togo which will be rolling from the 11th-16th April, 2017.

In-form Sunyani based roller Anthony Boakye will captain the six man team in Togo. The latter is no stranger in the Francophone terrain as he has ridden in the same tour on several occasions with the late legendary roller Samuel Anim.

The others comprise- Sunyani based sprinter , clement Kusi, who is just 21 years of age,Francis Owusu of River Park Eastern, 17 year old roller Gabriel Tettey, and another 17 year old prodigy George Aduamoah Asare who is making his debut on the international stage.
The tour will cover 8 cities covering a distance of over 450km of road battle.

Level 1 coach, Taju Amadu is confident his squad will live up to the billing against crack cycling nations like Burkina Faso, LA cote d ivoire and France.
