Ghana’s Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe successfully defended his WBO international super bantamweight belt against Argentina’s Javier Chacon on Saturday night at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Dogboe who was fighting in front of his home crowd battered Chacon from round one until the latter threw in the towel at the start of round seven.
In the fight, Dogboe was the aggressor as he used Chacon as a punching bag on the night.
With that superb performance, Dogboe is close in landing a shot at Jesse Magdaleno’s WBO World super bantamweight belt.
The fight attracted important personalities like ex-president Jerry John Rawlings and International Boxing Hall of Fame Inductee Azumah Nelson.
