2017/2018 Ghana Rugby League To Kick Off In November – GRFU Gen. Secretary

The General Secretary of Ghana Rugby Football Union, Mr. Aziz Issah has indicated that, the 2017/2018 league season will start in November.

In an interview with Happy FM, he said, “Hopefully, this season’s league will start in November. We are finalizing the date, either first or second week in November.”

He added that, they have lined up some international friendly games for the The Eagles sevens team before the league kicks off.

“We want to play more International friendly games and the likely countries are Nigeria and Senegal. We want to play more of the sevens and the fifteens games to get our players in shape for the next season.”
