Kwadwo Asamoah is on his way out of Juventus as the player has agreed to join Inter Milan after rejecting a new contract been presented to him by the Old Ladies according to report by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Ghanaian International has made 20 appearances so far this season.
His current deal expires at the end of this season, leaving him free to depart the club for nothing in the summer.
Juvetus CEO Beppe Marotta is said to have conceded defeat in his efforts to keep Asamoah and it is understood the full-back will receive no further contract offers from the Serie A champions.
And according to the Italian daily, the Ghanaian’s next destination will be the Bianconeri’s rivals Inter.
Asamoah is said to have agreed a three-year contract at the San Siro which will see him earn wages of €3.5m a season.
Asamoah’s recent resurgence in the Champions League, where he came on as a substitute in their knock-out game against Tottenham and help Juventus to a famous victory means he will not be short of suitors at the end of the season.
Asamoah has endured an injury-plagued career which has forced him to temporary stay out of the national team.
At 29 years, Asamoah knows his next deal will probably be his last and thus he is prepared to get as much from it.
He’s won the Coppa Italia and six Italian Serie A titles with Juventus.
