Hearts: ”No serious club will appoint Wellington as head coach” – Sunsum Laments

Accra Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee spokesperson Paa Kofi Sunsum, has bemoaned Henry Wellington position as the head coach of the club and according to him ‘no serious club in the premier league will appoint Wellington as their head coach’.

The hearts trainer has been lambasted by some supporters of the club especially after their inconsistent form in this season’s Ghana Premier League as they currently sixth position on the league with 10 points accumulated so far.

But Sunsum believes that Hearts of Oak is bigger than its currently and has suggested proactive measures taken before things go out of hand.

” No serious club in premier league will appoint Henry Wellington as their head coach, he is not up to the standard of Hearts of Oak “, Paa Kofi Sunsum said told FOX FM.

The controversial supporters’ leader took further swipe at the club’s assistant coach Edward Odoom, saying he must be relieved of his post with immediate effect.

Sunsum made his stands in reference to coach Odoom’s comments about the attitude shown by his players in their recent 2-1 home loss to Elmina Sharks.

“The assistant coach (Edward Odoom) must be sacked now!”, Sunsum began. ” You selected players by yourself, if they fail why do you want to slay the players by shirking your responsibilities ?,” Sunsum questioned.

Hearts face off against Karela FC on match-day eight of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.
