AFCON Group D leaders, the Black Stars have called off their intended training at Port-Gentil on Monday evening due to heavy downpour in Gabon.
The Stars are preparing for their crucial group D encounter with the Pharaohs of Egypt on Wednesday to decide who tops the group.
However, the Black Stars have opted to use the time for gym work in the absence of full scale training.
Even though Ghana have already booked their quarter finals ticket ,the final group match will decide the team which stays in Port-Gentil and also who plays a relatively soft side thus the runner up in Group C.
Coincidentally, Ghana will be coming up against their World Cup group opponent Egypt whom they painfully lost their World Cup qualifier to in Cairo last year. The Wednesday match is dicey for both sides. Ghana would be aiming at a revenge for their World Cup qualifier lose and Egypt would be interested in a repeat of the win they recorded last year in the Russia 2018 qualifiers.
