2018 Commonwealth Games(Boxing): Ghana’s Jessie Lartey Qualifies For Semi Finals

Ghanan’s Jessie Lartey has made it to the semi finals and the medal zone of the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Lartey put up a spirited performance on Tuesday to advanced to the next stage of the competition.

The Ghanaian reigned supreme over South Africa’s Sinethemba Blom by scoring a split decision in the light welterweight clash.

Another Ghanaian Samuel Yaw Addo will be in action later in the day against England’s Peter McGrail.

Addo will be seeking for a qualification to the medal zone of the bantamweight tournament.
